Bruichladdich The Laddie 10

I havent seen this in Houston so I ordered a sample from Master of Malt.  I went with the small sample as I haven't always been a fan of Bruichladdich's "experiments".  The nose had a nice sea spray note and some fruitiness.  The taste was spicy (but not hot), a little oily, some peat and some sweet caramel with a little more of the fruitiness from the nose.  The finish had more peat, more oil and some dark chocolate, oak and pepper.  A little water brings up the peat and also makes it sweeter.  Pretty good for their new "standard expression" and I will be looking for more to sample now.
