This whisky is described as "double matured in Oloroso Seco" casks and is bottled at 46% ABV. The nose has dry sherry, some green apples, wood notes and perhaps some chocolate. The taste is fruity and sweet: raisins, brown sugar and with time gets little more oaky. The finish is dry, spiced and again revels the strong sherry influence. I liked this a lot, a big bold, sherried highland malt which evolved in the glass and I think would pair well with cigar or even food.
