Very nice nose, caramel and popcorn, even nutty... Just like Crackerjack, a sweet popcorn treat sold at baseball games. Unfortunately the taste is not quite a good. Some nice notes of toffee, vanilla and corn but also oak and spices, and the finish is a little bitter even. Like an average piano player playing Mozart, it seems like all the notes are there, but perhaps not all in the right order or with the right emphasis. A little more time may help balance and integration. Close, but no cigar.
