Elijah Craig 12 year old

A great, rich, oaky bourbon. The nose is classic bourbon with vanilla, alcohol, fruit and maybe some acetone. The mouthfeel is rich and mouth filling, even chewy. The taste has brown sugar, toasted oak, some chocolate notes with a spices and woody finish, like chewing on a pencil. The 12 years in cask (a pretty long time for bourbon) really shows, oak leads but does not overpower the other favors, and I like this one.
