Now perhaps my favorite Glenmorangie (as they don't produce the Maderia cask finish anymore). The nose is nice and fruity, sweet and jammy even with bananas and raisins. Some sherry influence as well. The taste is also sweet with a great mouthfeel with more fruit jams but some balance with spice and pepper. More sherry in the dry finish. With water some chocolate, coffee and even mint comes through and the sherry notes become sweeter, like prunes.
