Templeton Rye

The nose is classic rye; mint, menthol, classic baked rye bread and herbal notes and even anise.  The taste has more anise and lots of spice notes, milk chocolate and toffee but some of the sweet jam fruitiness I find in other ryes seems to be missing.  Still very smooth and good though.  The finish has more mint, caramel and a little cayenne pepper.  Really good, but I would like something fruity to balance it out a little... it has everything but the fruit!
