Another sample from La Maison du Whisky's box set of Australian whiskies and this one had the signficant disadvantage of being the next whisky I tried after Sullivans Cover Port Barrel blew me away. However it was still good. The nose was fruity, oranges and peaches and some caramel sweetness. Reminded me a little of a Terry's Chocolate Orange. The taste is smooth and body is quite light. Cirtus peel with some of the bitter pith and some chocolate. With water more milk chocolate and caramel sweetness. The finish has a little pepper and pot pourri spice, orangey and slightly perfumed. Very good.
