A blended scotch that rather unusually is finished in an ale cask. The nose has sweet malt, green apples, citrus fruits, green grapes and (power of suggestion at work?) stale lager. In fact it smells a little like an old pub. The taste is equally interesting, citrus peel and caramel and the beer notes again. It is a little surprising just how much it tastes of beer. The finish is soft, some malt and black pepper. Very interesting.
