In Canada it is legal to add a little sherry to whisky and still call it whisky and that is what Beam do to produce Tangle Ridge 10 year old. The nose has fruits and cocoa and to me was very Canadian. The taste is sweet sherry, vanilla and rye bread. Very smooth, even buttery and full flavored (whether you like the flavor is personal matter). In the finish the sherry turns into pepper and mint and gets little tart and dry.
