The nose on this travel retail expression has malt, honey, vanilla and a little spicy kick to it. The spice carries over into the taste at first, and then more of the honey and vanilla from the nose push through along with lemon. Caramel sweetness lingers though a peppery finish. Perhaps my least favorite of the three no age statement "cask series" single malts. Not Glenfiddich’s best work.
